The Transport Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the transport operations of the chemical disposal / logistics hubs across the employer They coordinate and monitor the movement of materials, ensure compliance with transportation regulations, and optimize efficiency in the transport processes. • Supervise and coordinate the activities of the transport team to ensure timely and safe movement of materials • Plan and allocate transportation resources to meet delivery requirements • Monitor transport operations, including vehicle dispatch, routing, and tracking • Collaborate with drivers and transport coordinators to optimize delivery routes and schedules • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards • Identify and resolve any issues or delays in transport operations • Train and develop the transport team members to enhance their skills and knowledge • Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices to increase productivity and operational efficiency • Contribute to the preparation of timely and accurate reports to meet departmental requirements, policies and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university is required
• Certifications related to supply chain management preferred
• 7–10 years of relevant warehouse, logistics, manufacturing or industrial operations experience with minimum 3 years of experience leading or supervising frontline operational teams is preferred
