Senior IOS Developer (Swift)

Job description

As a Senior iOS Developer you will play a key role in building and enhancing a native mobile application with a strong focus on accessibility and inclusive design. You will leverage your expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit to deliver reliable, high-performance features for a diverse user base. A central part of your work will involve implementing advanced iOS accessibility solutions, ensuring seamless VoiceOver support, and optimizing interfaces for users with different accessibility requirements. You will contribute to accessibility testing, identify usability barriers, and ensure alignment with WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 standards. Working fully remote in an international environment, you will collaborate with technical teams to maintain high code quality and application performance.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional experience in native iOS application development
• strong practical expertise in Swift and solid understanding of native iOS development principles
• commercial experience developing and maintaining applications using SwiftUI and/or UIKit
• extensive hands‑on experience implementing accessibility features in native iOS applications
• strong practical knowledge of VoiceOver, including testing and optimizing screen‑reader navigation
• experience working with iOS Accessibility APIs and SwiftUI Accessibility features
• demonstrated experience implementing Dynamic Type and scalable font sizes
• practical experience configuring and optimizing accessibility labels, traits, values, and actions
• experience implementing and troubleshooting accessibility focus management
• proven ability to conduct accessibility testing, identify usability barriers, and implement effective technical solutions
• knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines, ideally including WCAG 2.1 and WCAG 2.2
• strong debugging, analytical, and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and collaborate effectively with distributed international teams
• good English communication skills, both written and verbal
• proactive, quality‑focused mindset and ability to work independently in a remote development environment.
