Civil Inspector-Water Transmission

Job description

Manage and oversee all civil engineering activities on-site related to water transmission and water network projects. Manage civil activities from inception to completion; ensure compliance with contract requirements, design specifications, codes and regulations; perform estimation, constructability review and construction management; develop project plans, schedules and budgets and monitor adherence; coordinate with stakeholders and report progress; supervise site, monitor contractor interactions and provide guidance; liaise with clients to resolve design and contract issues; investigate safety incidents and report; conduct regular inspections for quality and safety; review site documentation, feasibility and risk studies; audit third‑party and EPC contractors quarterly; review designs, specifications and drawings; implement QA/QC procedures and test materials; document non‑conformities; collaborate with architects and structural engineers; mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• 5-10 years site supervision experience focused on water pipelines or IWTP projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or eligibility for licensure
• proven experience in civil engineering with focus on site management and construction
• strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
• proficiency in project management software and AutoCAD or similar design tools
