The company seeks a Senior Backend Engineer to design and build high‑performance, scalable backend systems. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining microservices with event‑driven patterns, collaborating in an Agile environment, contributing to application architecture and best practices, ensuring high availability and reliability of mission‑critical platforms, working with cloud‑based distributed systems, participating in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement, communicating effectively with stakeholders, taking ownership in fast‑paced settings, promoting a collaborative culture, exploring new technologies, and using AI‑assisted development tools with rigorous review.

Requirements

• Proven experience building microservices‑based architectures
• solid experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• strong understanding of application design and software development best practices
• experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB
• experience in Agile development environments
• ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, ambiguous environments
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with Java (Java 21 preferred)
• hands‑on experience with SpringBoot framework
• experience with event‑driven systems and messaging technologies like RabbitMQ and Kafka
• proven ability to support high‑availability, mission‑critical systems
• familiarity with cloud‑based and distributed system architectures
• strong communication skills with ability to collaborate and provide constructive feedback
• good to have experience with reactive programming or frameworks
• good to have knowledge of AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or prompt engineering
