Project Cost and Schedule Control Specialist (PMIS) Level E2

Job description

The applicant manages cost control and tracking of water and wastewater projects by preparing budgets and estimates, and monitoring schedules and expenses using PMIS tools to ensure adherence to financial and schedule goals. Collaborates with project teams to analyze performance data, prepare reports and forecasts, and ensure compliance with contracts and requirements, while identifying process improvement opportunities and applying best practices in project monitoring. Develops and maintains cost estimates and budgets, and implements a project information management system to track progress, expenses, and schedule. Monitors performance against baselines and addresses deviations, generating periodic reports and dashboards to illustrate project status, cost forecasts, and schedule updates. Regularly reviews project documents and contracts to ensure compliance, and continues to follow best practices and recent trends in project management
