Railway Engineering Manager

Job description

The Engineering Manager leads all engineering activities and design management for traditional and freight railway projects. Ensures effective technical coordination between construction, structural, geotechnical, track, systems, mechanical, electrical, and architectural disciplines. Responsible for integrating design, technical compliance, feasibility, interface definition, and ensuring engineering throughout the project lifecycle. Focuses on coordinating infrastructure and related systems for traditional and freight railway operations, such as corridors, sidings, yards, warehouses, and stations, to ensure design integration and operation according to safety, regulatory, and performance standards. Oversees the delivery of coordinated design packages according to timelines, technical requirements, and client expectations. Manages interfaces between all disciplines, oversees design reviews, technical files, value engineering initiatives, and design optimization. Ensures design compliance with client specifications, contracts, standards, regulations, and systems
