Food & Beverage Manager

Job description

This role requires daily management of all food and beverage outlets. Outstanding guest satisfaction must be ensured through high-quality service and prompt resolution of guest concerns. It involves developing and implementing service standards, operating procedures, and quality assurance programs. Additionally, it includes overseeing restaurant, bar, banquet, room service, and catering operations, where applicable. Departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial performance must be prepared and managed. Food, beverage, labor, and operating costs must be monitored to achieve profitability targets. Collaboration with the Executive Chef is required to develop menus, promotions, and seasonal offerings. Compliance with food safety, sanitation, health, and local regulatory requirements must be ensured. Recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluating managers, supervisors, and team members are part of the role. Inventory levels, purchasing, and supplier relationships must be monitored to optimize stock control. Sales reports, guest feedback, and operational KPIs must be analyzed to identify opportunities for improvement. Coordination with Sales, Marketing, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Events teams is necessary to ensure seamless guest experiences. Leading quality assurance initiatives and preparing for brand audits and inspections are also required

• understanding of food safety regulations (HACCP or equivalent) and sanitation standards

• fluency in English, additional languages are a plus
• experience in luxury, upscale, or international hotel brands is preferred
