Senior Test and Operation Engineer

Job description

The Senior Test and Commissioning Engineer manages the contractor's integration and verification activities and certifies all test plans and operating procedures for the software. Directs and supervises a team of specialized engineers in the preparation and implementation of site works operation. Takes full responsibility for completion of implementation in accordance with client needs and project standards. Plans, organizes and supervises work to ensure its implementation within the project schedule. Communicates with systems engineering team for engineering support and control. Coordinates with Operator, Civil Defiance, EXPRO and other third parties to meet all testing and commissioning requirements. Ensures that testing and commissioning work is comprehensive and discussed with stakeholders to ensure best implementation. Approves testing and commissioning work. Participates in negotiations with regulators and in general meetings with the client. Initiates risk assessment of testing and commissioning work, reviews results and proposes mitigation actions. Attends final inspections of completed projects and issues contract completion and delivery certificates. Coordinates all activities to successfully operate the project according to schedules and contractual requirements. Supervises coordination between the client, contractor, suppliers, engineering, subcontractors and any other party to ensure smooth operation of the plant. Reviews calibration of test equipment on site. Reviews test and commissioning plans submitted by the contractor to ensure compliance with operational requirements. Writes test and commissioning reports and documentation. Ensures completion of training for operational and maintenance personnel, operation and maintenance manual, spare parts, and shop drawings. Reviews the employer International's quality, environment, safety and occupational health policies Of continued commitment to it. Performs other duties as determined by the direct supervisor
