Infrastructure Planning Expert

Job description

The candidate will develop and manage the infrastructure master plan for the employer projects. Establish best‑practice capacity planning methodologies for the national and global network. Perform capacity planning for failover paths, including shared sub‑components and “what‑if” modeling. Analyze existing infrastructure and devise improvement and expansion plans. Create a strategic roadmap to meet network capacity and access objectives. Evaluate current infrastructure and propose upgrades or replacements. Build relationships with stakeholders and local government agencies. Implement strategies to ensure successful plan execution. Monitor plan progress and adjust as needed. Provide technical support to project teams on infrastructure issues. Prepare reports and presentations on plan status. Maintain a database of infrastructure information. Identify and apply best practices in master planning. Ensure compliance with the employer’s quality, environmental, safety and occupational health policies. Perform other duties assigned by the line manager. Require a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or Urban Planning. Minimum 25 years experience on national/international major initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Urban Planning
• experience in infrastructure planning and development
• experience in developing a master plan for water and sewage
• international experience with a preference for the Middle East / Saudi Arabia
• ability to conduct economic evaluation, demand forecasting, and cost-benefit analysis
• skill in prioritizing spending across projects and programs
• proficient in Excel
