Senior Specialist Airport Systems Engineer

Job description

The Senior Specialist Airport Systems Engineer leads the design and engineering review of the airport's specialized systems under the direction of the Project Management Consultant. Ensures that all systems are designed, integrated and delivered in accordance with international standards, operational requirements and stakeholder expectations with a focus on safety, efficiency and future scalability. Coordinates with architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical and IT teams to ensure systems integration. Reviews and approves implementation drawings, technical specifications, and interface documents. Identifies design risks and systems conflicts and proposes solutions to reduce them. Supports value engineering initiatives to improve performance, cost and maintainability. Participates in stakeholder meetings with airport operators, airlines and regulators. Ensures designs meet operating efficiency, passenger experience and safety requirements. Prepares and reviews technical reports and design documents and ensures timeliness approvals. Adheres to the employer International's quality, environmental, safety and occupational health policies and procedures. Performs other tasks assigned by the project manager

• At least 15 years of experience in the field of airport systems engineering and design
• Proven experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and system integration
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and interface management skills
