Senior Specialist, Process Technology and Control Platform Engineer

Job description

The role supports the design and governance of the process technology platform and control platform architecture by transforming enterprise architecture standards into practical guidelines. Ensures the integration of process systems, data, AI, and underlying technology platforms, making them scalable, secure, and on-trend with enterprise architecture in complex industrial environments. Contributes to the development and maintenance of enterprise architecture principles, platform standards, and reference architectures for practical platforms. Translates architecture vision and plans into actionable guidelines for design teams. Participates in architecture reviews and supports design assurance for platforms and cross-technology solutions. Identifies risks related to fragmentation, redundancy, unmanaged technical debt, and non-adherence to standards. Documents design options, trade-offs, constraints, risks, and recommended geometric patterns. Applies integration patterns and reference architectures across platforms, data, AI, and enterprise systems. Supports end-to-end alignment between IT, operations, data and digital. Collaborates with integration, data, cybersecurity, infrastructure, and engineering teams to provide scalable and reusable solutions. Documents and maintains solution architecture by creating and updating reference diagrams and patterns
