Mechanical Engineer

Job description

Mechanical engineers research, plan and design mechanical products and systems and supervise the fabrication, operation, application, installation and repair of systems and products. They research and analyse data. Typical duties of this profession: • Prepare the designs and outlines of mechanical engineering projects and works, such as generators, turbines, air conditioning units, boilers as well as the distribution networks of HVAC systems. • Prepare the plans and programs of assembling and installing the mechanical fitting in the industrial projects; and define the control systems in industrial projects. • Prepare the the employer operation programs and preventive maintenance programs, as per the manufacturer instructions; and follow up the execution procedures. • Develop the work methods and procedures; and keep up with the technical developments. • Prepare, present, clarify, and keep on the relevant database, the specialized documents and reports related to engineering projects and works, as well as their progress ratio, as per the adopted policies and procedures

Requirements

• Obtaining an appropriate university qualification in electrical or mechanical engineering depending on the position applied for
• The applicant must not be currently employed
• A valid professional accreditation from the Saudi Council of Engineers is required in accordance with the requirements of the advertisement. Ability to live and join immediately
• Good knowledge of reading drawings, specifications and engineering documents
• Ability to coordinate, field follow-up, and work within a multidisciplinary team
• Seriousness, discipline, responsibility, and the ability to deal with the requirements of the project and contracting environment. Familiarity with relevant engineering drawing and design programs such as AutoCAD is an added advantage
