Job description

Receives and disburses money in establishments other than financial institutions. Uses electronic scanners, cash registers, or related equipment. May also process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks. Typical duties of this profession: • Receive cash payments, credit cards, and issue invoices. • Operate cash registers and electronic scanners accurately. • Verify the validity of amounts and cards and interact politely with customers. • Perform cash reconciliation and prepare financial reports for the shift
