Senior Construction Manager

Job description

the employer seeks a Senior Construction Manager to support a Project Management and Construction Management Consultant Services package in Sharma. The role oversees construction delivery for two residential complexes, including villas, guest and staff villas, gates, boundary walls, demolition, reinstatement, earthworks, drainage, utility diversions, decommissioning, hardscape, softscape, irrigation, and extensive landscaping. Manage and supervise construction activities across residential buildings, infrastructure, landscaping, and external works. Ensure construction aligns with approved drawings, specifications, contracts, schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements. Lead and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, consultants, site supervision teams, and project stakeholders. Monitor daily site progress, productivity, resources, work fronts, milestones, and performance. Review construction methods, method statements, inspection and test plans, temporary works, and permits. Coordinate demolition, earthworks, drainage, utility diversions, decommissioning, and reinstatement. Oversee installation of hardscape, softscape, irrigation systems, landscaping, gates, boundary walls, and related external works. Identify and resolve construction issues, site constraints, technical queries, RFIs, nonconformances, and interface conflicts. Monitor contractor performance, quality, health and safety, environmental compliance, and schedule adherence. Support testing, commissioning, inspections, handover, snagging, closeout, and final acceptance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management with significant experience in residential, villa, hospitality, or mixed-use developments
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, site logistics, quality control, and health and safety requirements
• Ability to review and implement approved drawings, specifications, method statements, schedules, and inspection plans
• Proficiency with project management, scheduling, cost-control, document-control, and digital construction systems
• Experience managing large-scale building, infrastructure, demolition, earthworks, utilities, and external works packages
• Experience supervising contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary site teams
• Deep understanding of civil works, drainage, utility diversions, landscaping, irrigation, hardscape, and softscape construction
• Experience delivering luxury villas, residential compounds, remote developments, or high-end private projects
• Experience managing multiple construction work fronts across large or complex sites
• Experience working in fast-track or challenging site environments
