Founding CTO (AI/ML / Data Product)

Job description

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, looking for an entrepreneurial technology leader to build an AI-powered B2B venture from the ground up. Over a 12-week remote program, you will validate a real market problem, define a product-led MVP, and build a working solution with measurable business value. Key accountabilities include identifying B2B opportunities for AI, designing data strategy and architecture, establishing production deployment and monitoring practices, iterating based on user feedback, and developing an investor-ready technology narrative with support from co-founders and mentors while committing 10–12 hours per week. A participation fee is required after acceptance.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in software engineering, with substantial exposure to AI/ML or data-driven products
• Demonstrated experience deploying software, machine learning models, or data products into production environments
• Understanding of MLOps fundamentals, including deployment, monitoring, reliability, and performance evaluation
• Ability to design practical AI and data solutions that address real business problems and deliver measurable outcomes
• Strong product judgment, with the ability to define MVP scope and prioritize essential functionality
• Experience or familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and production-ready system design
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine desire to build a company and take ownership of technical decisions
• Ability to work independently, make decisions under uncertainty, and move quickly from problem discovery to execution
• Willingness to commit approximately 10–12 hours per week for 12 weeks
• Interest in collaborating with co-founders, engaging with mentors, and developing an investor-ready vision.
