Opportunity No. 2817 For more opportunities: Training Announcement Cybersecurity Trainee (GRC) Company: the employer Digital Work Location: Riyadh Cybersecurity Trainee Opportunity Type: Cooperative Training (COOP) or Graduate Training Department: Cybersecurity - Governance, Risk, and Compliance Joining Date: Beginning of November Duties and Responsibilities: ▪ Contribute to assessing compliance with controls of the National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA), including ECC, CSCC, and DCC. ▪ Review technical controls related to permissions management, logs, security updates, backups, and network security. ▪ Collect and review technical evidence and link it to controls requirements. ▪ Assist in preparing gap analyses, risk assessments, and remediation plans. ▪ Participate in customer meetings and workshops to understand their security needs and challenges. ▪ Contribute to providing technical recommendations and preparing reports and presentations. ▪ Coordination with penetration testing teams, assessing security vulnerabilities, and following up on the results. ▪ Research recent threats and vulnerabilities and contribute to the development of technical guides and templates

Requirements

• Bachelor's student in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field eligible for cooperative training, or recent graduate seeking a training opportunity
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals and Windows and Linux operating systems and cybersecurity concepts
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity tools such as Nmap, Wireshark, Nessus, Burp Suite or SIEM systems, or hands‑on lab training
• Proficient in Arabic and English, both spoken and written
• Ability to engage in discussions and clearly explain technical concepts
• Familiarity with NCA frameworks or ISO 27001 or NIST CSF
• Holding or intending to obtain entry‑level certifications such as Security+, CCNA or eJPT
• Having practical projects or participation in CTF challenges or home labs
