Role overview: Metals Company seeks a Senior Discovery-to-Development Acceleration Specialist to translate technology applications into geological exploration. This full‑time role focuses on accelerating the shift from exploration insights to scientific evidence ready for decision‑making. Responsibilities include developing an enterprise exploration technology roadmap; converting emerging technologies into deployable exploration capabilities; selecting solutions based on scientific viability, technology readiness, and commercial value; building the company’s technical edge by sourcing technologies from the oil‑and‑gas sector, space exploration, academia, and research centers; integrating automation, advanced sensing, artificial intelligence, and data analytics to shorten learning cycles, improve confidence in results, and reduce rework

Requirements

• Experience in a related field
• proficiency in integrating AI technologies into exploration
• knowledge of advanced data analytics including predictive modelling and deep learning
• familiarity with advanced sensing and subsurface analysis techniques
• ability to select and apply emerging technologies based on scientific validity and technology readiness
