AI/ML Support Analyst

Job description

This role is a key part of the AI/ML Support Team at the the employer Supercomputing Lab (KSL), dedicated to supporting the delivery of research services to the university's diverse academic community. Reporting to the Team Lead, the analyst focuses on: Developing and optimizing Generative AI models. Maintaining computational benchmarks. Providing expert consultation for researchers in domains including Climate & Weather, Bioinformatics, CFD, NLP, and multimodal AI. Bridging the gap between advanced computational infrastructure and research needs. Contributing to governance, technical enablement, and community development. Delivering timely user support via telephone, walk-in, email, and ticketing systems.

Requirements

• Experience with Generative AI development and optimization
• Experience providing expert technical consultation across scientific domains
• Proficient in technical user support via multiple communication channels
• Knowledge of supercomputing infrastructure and computational benchmarking.
