About the Role the employer is looking for a proofreader to join its team. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the linguistic and grammatical accuracy of text and library content, which contributes to the quality of the final output. The role requires 0 to 1 year of proofreading experience. The aim of the job: The linguistic proofreader aims to study the language used in texts, and review and revise it for linguistic, spelling and grammatical errors. This includes preparing, presenting and archiving specialized documents and reports related to linguistic correction to ensure the highest levels of quality and accuracy. Main tasks and responsibilities: Study the language used by the text, and learn about the meanings of its vocabulary and its morphological and semantic rules. Proofreading texts and topics to ensure their linguistic, spelling and grammatical integrity. Correcting spelling, grammatical, and morphological errors, and ensuring the correctness of words, instructions, fonts, and images. Preparing audited and corrected copies, and annotating the final draft. Assist in auditing and correcting media and advertising materials, ensuring their integrity and of errors and ambiguous expressions. Preparing documents and reports specialized in linguistic correction, and storing them in the database in accordance with approved policies and procedures. Qualifications and Experience: Experience ranging from 0 to one year in the field of linguistic correction. A deep understanding of Arabic grammar, spelling, grammar and morphology. The ability to identify linguistic errors and correct them accurately. Work Environment This position is full time. The proofreader will work within a specialized team, requiring effective communication and collaboration skills.
