About the Role the employer is looking for a Security Consultant to join their team. This full-time role involves supporting the delivery of operational technology (OT) cybersecurity engagements, including consulting, engineering, architecture, design and implementation. The Consultant will combine consulting experience with hands-on technical delivery and collaboration with customers, OT teams, OEMs and technology vendors to design, implement and optimize secure OT environments aligned with operational and business objectives. Key Responsibilities Support the delivery of end-to-end OT cybersecurity engagements, including assessments, strategy, architecture, engineering, design, and implementation activities. Conduct OT cybersecurity maturity assessments, gap analyses, risk assessments, and security reviews within industrial and critical infrastructure environments. Design and architect OT cybersecurity solutions aligned with client requirements, operational objectives and industry best practices. Develop OT security architectures, network designs, security controls, technical specifications, and implementation roadmaps. Assist in implementing, configuring and optimizing OT security technologies, such as network segmentation, firewalls, secure remote access, asset visibility, monitoring, and vulnerability management. Participate in technical workshop, solution architecture, system integration, testing, commissioning and operational delivery activities. Collaborate with OT, Engineering, IT, and Security teams Cyber to translate business and operational requirements into secure and scalable technology solutions. Work with OT OEMs, system integrators and technology vendors to design, integrate, validate and support OT cybersecurity solutions. Apply industry-recognized OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks, including IEC 62443, NIST, NERC CIP, and ISO 27001/27019. Produce high-quality technical deliverables, including high-level designs (HLDs), low-level designs (LLDs), security architectures, evaluation reports, and implementation documents. Support customer workshops, technical presentations, demonstrations and stakeholder engagement activities. Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, solution development initiatives, and create new OT cybersecurity offerings. Stay on top of emerging OT technologies, cyber threats, regulatory requirements, and industry trends, and integrate these insights into customer solutions. Qualifications and Experience Proven experience supporting OT cybersecurity consulting, engineering, design and implementation projects. Strong understanding of OT/ICS architecture, industrial networks, protocols, control systems, and operational engineering environments. Hands-on experience designing, implementing or supporting OT cybersecurity technologies and solutions. Experience working with OT OEMs, system integrators, and industrial technology vendors. Strong knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and frameworks, especially IEC 62443 and NIST. Experience in folding t HLDs, LLDs, network and security architectures, technical designs, and implementation specifications. Experience supporting system integration, testing, commissioning, and operational delivery activities is highly desirable. Experience in energy, oil and gas, utilities, manufacturing, mining or other critical infrastructure sectors is preferred. Required Skills Strong analytical and technical skills.
