About the role: This position is part of the employer, a rapidly growing multi-commodity mining and metals company in the Middle East. The role involves contributing to the employer's growth by shaping the future of mining in the Kingdom. Responsibilities include: leading the identification, development, deployment, and adoption of AI solutions across various mining operations, including exploration, geology, resource modeling, mine planning, drilling and blasting, material movement, fleet optimization, production, and mine safety. The role requires translating operational challenges into scalable AI solutions and collaborating with multiple teams to deliver measurable and sustainable value

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
• demonstrated ability to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI, machine learning, optimization, computer vision, and geospatial analytics solutions
• experience in applying predictive and prescriptive analytics to improve discovery targeting, orebody understanding, and operational performance
• proven capability in leading and developing multidisciplinary teams
