Chief Accountant

Job description

The Chief Accountant oversees the preparation of financial statements and tests the accuracy of records according to locally approved accounting standards. He directs the accounting team and reviews daily entries and bank reconciliations to ensure compliance with tax and zakat regulations. He also plays a vital role in providing financial reports to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• advanced practical experience in accounting and budget preparation
• certified professional fellowship such as SOCPA or equivalent
• financial statement preparation
• accounting systems such as SAP or Oracle
• accounting team management
