Job description

The Cloud Platform Operations Manager leads cloud operations to ensure reliable, secure, and high‑performing environments across platforms such as GCP and OCI. Manages and optimizes cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI); leads cloud operations teams to ensure system reliability, uptime, and performance; monitors cloud infrastructure and implements proactive measures to prevent incidents; oversees incident response, root cause analysis, and resolution processes; ensures cloud security, compliance, and governance standards are maintained; manages cloud cost optimization and resource utilization strategies; develops and enforces operational best practices, policies, and procedures; collaborates with DevOps, engineering, and IT teams for deployment and scaling; implements automation tools and CI/CD pipelines for operational efficiency; maintains disaster recovery and business continuity plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 7 years of experience in IT operations or cloud infrastructure
• hands‑on experience with major cloud providers (GCP or OCI preferred)
• strong understanding of networking, virtualization, and system architecture
• experience with monitoring and logging tools
• knowledge of scripting languages such as Python and Bash
• familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
