Senior Manager - Legal

Job description

The role provides legal advice across multiple legal disciplines for the organization. Represents the firm’s best interests from a legal perspective while balancing commercial and regulatory requirements. Facilitates legal transactions and litigation on behalf of the organization, conducting necessary legal research and analysis to produce opinions, case arguments, and legal documents. Involved in legal investigations, employee policy creation, and legal risk management. Ensures implementation, adherence, and enforcement of the SAMA Cybersecurity Framework and related requirements. Provides legal guidance on retail banking operations, customer agreements, banking regulations, and consumer protection. Advises on corporate banking matters such as loan agreements and financing structures. Assists in developing new banking products and services ensuring compliance. Supports negotiation and drafting of service contracts with corporate clients. Reviews and negotiates treasury and investment documents, including financial instruments and derivatives. Reviews and negotiates commercial contracts with vendors, ensuring regulatory compliance. Advises on employment law, information security, data privacy, and corporate governance. Drafts legal documents and correspondence. Develops, implements, and maintains internal policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. Communicates regulations, standards, and policies across the organization. Facilitates dispute resolution, negotiations, and conflict management. Liaises with stakeholders for litigation and internal investigations, updating parties on progress and findings. Keeps abreast of updated legislation and ensures compliance with information security controls.

Requirements

• LLB degree from an internationally recognized institution
• Master’s degree in Law or relevant certifications preferred
• 5 to 7 years of equivalent experience
