Function Head - Finance & Accounting

Job description

The Function Head – Finance & Accounting is responsible for overall financial management, business analysis and strategic financial planning to ensure financial feasibility and alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. Leads the Finance & Accounting team, drives digital transformation of finance processes, and acts as primary business partner to the CFO and executive leadership on finance, treasury, tax and reporting matters. Sets and monitors KPIs, oversees preparation of financial statements under IFRS and Saudi GAAP, manages audit processes and regulatory compliance for VAT, Zakat and WHT, supervises treasury operations and cash‑flow planning, provides financial analysis for property acquisitions and development, and leads team development and performance appraisal.

Requirements

• proficient in preparing financial statements under IFRS and Saudi GAAP
• knowledge of VAT, Zakat, WHT and ZATCA e‑invoicing requirements
• experience leading audit processes and managing external auditor relationships
• mastery of Yardi all modules
• advanced Power BI dashboard development
• advanced Microsoft Excel/ Microsoft 365 financial modelling
• proficiency with AI‑assisted finance tools such as Copilot for Finance
• knowledge of Wrike for task management
• knowledge of DocuSign for digital approvals
• CPA, ACCA or CMA certification required
• bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• minimum 10 years progressive finance experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership
• real estate or property management experience
• strategic leadership and team management skills
• strong analytical and financial reporting capabilities
• effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
