Teacher Assistant

Job description

Assist the teacher with small groups or individual students based on needs under teacher direction, including routine, clerical, administrative and non‑professional tasks. Primary responsibility is to serve as a Healthcare Facilitator on the school site.

Requirements

• Proficient command of English
• ability to type with reasonable speed and accuracy
• operate duplicating machines and audio‑visual equipment
• prior experience as a healthcare facilitator or nursing background preferred
• demonstrate rapport with assigned group
• minimum 60 semester hours of post‑secondary credit or 2 years of academic training beyond high school
• 3 years of full‑time employment experience
