Super Sucker Operator

Job description

the employer is seeking experienced Super Sucker Operators to join the operations team. The operator will run and maintain vacuum trucks used to remove liquids, sludge, and other materials from various sites, including oil and gas facilities. The role ensures safe, efficient, and timely operations while complying with all safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities include operating the trucks, performing pre‑operational checks and routine maintenance, following safety protocols and environmental rules, coordinating with site personnel for task planning, maintaining accurate records of operations, maintenance, and materials, promptly reporting equipment malfunctions or safety concerns, and keeping work areas clean with proper disposal of collected materials.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and certification to operate vacuum trucks or similar heavy equipment
• Proven experience operating super sucker or vacuum trucks, preferably in oil and gas or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot equipment
• Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence and safety
