Business Analyst - Retail Banking (Mid-Level)

Job description

We are seeking a Mid-Level Business Analyst to support business transformation initiatives in Retail Banking. The role gathers and analyzes business requirements, documents functional specifications, and collaborates with business and technology teams to deliver innovative retail banking solutions. Conducts interviews and workshops with stakeholders, prepares Business Requirement Documents, Functional Requirement Documents, User Stories, and Process Flows, analyzes existing processes and recommends improvements. Performs Gap Analysis between requirements and existing systems and maintains requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. Works closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers, QA teams, and Project Managers, supports solution design discussions, participates in Functional Testing, System Integration Testing, and User Acceptance Testing, assists during production deployment and post‑go‑live support, and validates delivered solutions against requirements. Supports initiatives related to Retail Banking products such as Current & Savings Accounts, Customer Onboarding, Digital Banking, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking, Debit & Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Consumer Finance, Payments & Transfers, and Customer Information Management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or related field
• 5+ years of Business Analysis experience
• experience in Retail Banking projects
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• excellent communication and documentation skills
• experience in one or more areas: Retail Banking, Digital Banking, Cards, Customer Onboarding, Payments, Personal Loans, Deposits, Mobile Banking, Internet Banking
• proficiency in preparing BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Mapping
• knowledge of BPMN/UML
• proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Visio
• SQL knowledge (preferred)
• REST APIs knowledge (preferred)
• Postman knowledge (preferred)
• experience with one or more Core Banking platforms: Temenos Transact (T24), Finastra, Oracle Banking, Finacle or other Digital Banking platforms
• preferred certifications: CBAP, PMI‑PBA, Agile BA, Scrum Fundamentals
