Project Manager (PMC - Roads & Highways)

Job description

Job Overview: The Road Project Manager oversees the end-to-end execution of road and highway construction projects. Responsibilities include: · Leading overall project planning, execution, monitoring, and control of road construction works · Preparing project execution plans, timelines, work programs, and resource plans · Managing daily construction activities including earthworks, pavement, drainage, utilities, and traffic diversions · Coordinating with consultants, government authorities, and subcontractors on technical and permitting matters · Ensuring compliance with project specifications, standards, and safety regulations · Monitoring project budget, cost performance, and cash flows · Conducting site inspections, resolving technical issues, and approving work methods · Reviewing and approving shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 12-15 years’ experience in managing major road/highway infrastructure projects
• Strong knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and specifications
• Proven experience with stakeholder and client management
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and project coordination skills
• Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and project reporting tools
• Familiarity with FIDIC and contract administration.
