Senior Risk Manager

Role: Develop and monitor a risk issue and opportunity management process; develop and maintain a risk matrix identifying dependencies and impacts of missed dates; identify, monitor and manage dependencies and resolve related issues; arrange and coordinate discussions and agreements to realize benefits; monitor projects to ensure a robust risk management process is active; implement Risk Management Plan, Risk Log and governance processes; track significant risks to ensure systematic identification, recording, evaluation, active management, re‑evaluation and communication across the program; identify, communicate and manage inter‑program or external risks; review and update Risk Log against program status reports and meetings; provide accurate, timely management information on project status; monitor progress and drive delivery of projects; enable risk and opportunity management at program level; ensure coherence and manage inter‑dependencies among projects; enforce legal and commercial standards and ensure value for money; develop client capacity through knowledge transfer; implement best‑practice program and project management processes.

Requirements

• minimum 20 years experience in Risk Management
• at least 5 years as Risk Manager in Construction/Engineering industry
• graduate degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent
• Risk Management qualification preferred
• understanding and experience of complex projects
• strong leadership, communication and management skills
• proven track record in risk management
