Regional Controller - MENA

Join the finance leadership team in Riyadh as a key finance partner supporting the employer and Mercer consulting businesses across the MENA region. Responsibilities include financial controllership and monthly close, consolidation and group reporting aligned with global timelines, overseeing statutory reporting, budgeting and forecasting across multiple entities. Lead revenue recognition for consulting engagements under IFRS 15, manage tax compliance including Saudi corporate tax, Zakat and VAT across GCC. Strengthen internal controls, governance and ensure compliance with local regulations and IFRS. Communicate financial performance to senior leaders, support acquisitions, integrations and new entity setups.

Requirements

• Proven controllership experience within a large multinational matrixed organization
• strong revenue-recognition expertise in consulting or professional services
• practical knowledge of IFRS 15
• expertise in work-in-progress, percentage-of-completion accounting and project profitability
• Middle East tax knowledge including Saudi VAT, corporate income tax and Zakat
• experience managing finance operations across multiple countries and legal entities
• strong understanding of statutory reporting, financial consolidation, budgeting and forecasting
• ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders
• professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA or equivalent)
• approximately 10–16 years of progressive finance experience
• ability to work from Riyadh and partner with KSA leadership.
