Job description
The role involves ensuring compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards across construction and infrastructure projects. Responsibilities include inspecting electrical systems, reviewing plans and drawings, enforcing code compliance, preparing detailed reports, and maintaining accurate records. The position demands a meticulous approach, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. Tasks include conducting thorough inspections, collaborating with contractors and engineers, and promoting electrical safety protocols.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- Professional certification as an Electrical Inspector is preferred
- 10+ years experience as an Electrical Inspector or similar role in the construction industry
- In-depth knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and standards
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Proficiency in relevant software applications
- Willingness to travel to various project sites
- Familiarity with construction safety practices and regulations
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Fluency in English
- Arabic language skills are advantageous
