Pharmacist

Job description

Provides general healthcare advice and dispenses prescription and non-prescription medication to customers. Supervises the retail store team and operations to ensure sales targets, customer satisfaction, and operational readiness are continuously met. Manages store readiness according to internal guidelines, follows Standard Operating Procedures, processes prescriptions and advises on dosage, side effects and drug interactions. Educates customers on proper use of home medical equipment. Monitors staff performance, offers development opportunities, and tracks key performance indicators. Monitors sales performance and customer satisfaction, handles payments and reconciliations, identifies upsell and cross‑sell opportunities. Performs operational and administrative tasks, ensures health and safety compliance, and adheres to legal and internal policies. Maintains pharmacological knowledge through workshops and professional publications.

Requirements

• BSc in Pharmacy (required by law)
• 1-3 years of experience
• proficient with MS Office Suite
• fluent in English
• fluent in Arabic
• up‑to‑date pharmacological knowledge
• experience processing prescriptions
• knowledge of health and safety procedures
• ability to supervise and develop staff
• customer service and sales target achievement skills
• ability to manage payments and financial operations
