Job description

Responsible for monitoring information security and handling incidents. Works as part of a 24x7 security operation team. Monitors the SIEM system and follows up on all related security incidents and events. Responds to security incidents and reports on handling and resolution. Participates in forensic analysis, data recovery, and penetration testing. Performs daily security analysis, scanning, and assessment of risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. Conducts proactive research to identify new threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits. Configures and administers security systems and tools. Defines and evaluates security technologies to ensure safe operation and cyber‑attack detection. Provides security recommendations to improve posture within the client environment. Follows all departmental policies, processes, SOPs, and instructions for controlled execution. Participates in reviewing and documenting identified vulnerabilities and promotes security initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering
• 1+ years experience in IT/Security operations or SOC role
• Network+, CCNA R&S, Security+, Linux security, Windows security or forensics training is a plus
• Professional security certification preferred (CIHE, CEH, CPTE or equivalent)
• Knowledge and experience with network switches, routers and firewalls
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Project, Excel, Access
