Soft Services Consultant/Specialist

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Specialist to manage all cleaning operations for a prestigious facility. The role ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, conducts inspections, monitors performance and drives continuous improvement. Responsibilities: monitor and inspect cleaning services to ensure contractual standards, service frequencies and KPIs are met, conduct regular audits and prepare inspection reports highlighting quality, non‑compliance and corrective actions, review and verify daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules for comprehensive coverage per FMMA requirements, supervise housekeeping staff performance via service providers and recommend improvements, ensure cleaning activities comply with health, safety and environmental standards using correct materials and equipment, oversee specialized cleaning such as façade cleaning, floor polishing, carpet shampooing and deep cleaning, verify consumables and chemical usage reports for cost‑effective consumption without compromising quality, review method statements, risk assessments and training records from service providers, coordinate with clients, FMMA operations teams and service providers for issue resolution and service enhancements, participate in meetings with FMMA teams and client representatives to report performance, challenges and improvement plans, support sustainability initiatives including waste segregation and recycling while ensuring compliance with FMMA policies.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in cleaning operations management
• experience managing large‑scale or high‑profile facilities such as government buildings, corporate headquarters or premium commercial properties
• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Hospitality or related discipline
• BICSc certification (essential)
• additional FM certifications strongly preferred
• comprehensive knowledge of cleaning operations, grooming standards and BICSc methodologies
• familiarity with professional cleaning equipment, materials and chemical applications
• strong understanding of quality assurance, safety compliance and environmental regulations
• excellent inspection, reporting and communication skills
