Project Controls Manager

Job description

Works at the employer, a respected international EPC contractor, to develop, monitor and update the resource-loaded schedule and progress of works in cooperation with other project departments and report its status. Monitors cost performance and cost control activities, updates cost control tools and prepares budget forecasts. Handles pricing of variations during project execution and manages claims including Extension of Time Claims. Has awareness of planning principles. Prepares contractually required reports and internal project controls reports. Manages contract scope including claims, variation orders and contract/sub‑contract administration. Establishes and supervises invoicing procedures. Manages risk and schedule risk analysis with client, identifies risks and proposes mitigation plans. Follows established Project Controls processes and company policies. Supports development of Project Controls team members and shares lessons learned for continuous improvement. Builds and maintains positive relationships with Employer’s and Engineer’s representatives.

Requirements

• proficient in reporting and presentations
• proficient in written and oral English
• experience in cost control management
• knowledge of planning principles
• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university
• at least 5 years managerial experience in cost control
