Static Equipment Inspector

Job description

The inspector performs “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections and tests at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications. Inspects material and equipment to verify proper handling, storage and protection in accordance with SAUDI ARAMCO standards. Monitors the contractor’s quality systems, records and personnel for compliance. Reviews and evaluates the contractor’s quality document submissions. Witnesses on‑site and off‑site material and installation tests for conformity with SAUDI ARAMCO standards. Accurately records all non‑conforming practices, materials and equipment and reports potential issues to the supervisor for early resolution. Prepares inspection reports and initiates Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Reports (EDRs) as needed. Executes work as planned and scheduled with a professional approach and reports findings in the required format. Ensures safety during inspection activities and advises others to work safely. Maintains confidentiality throughout the service period. Operates to the highest ethical standards in line with the the employer Statement of Integrity.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering in the relevant inspection discipline with at least four (4) years of experience
• or a two (2) year industrial/technical college diploma with a minimum of eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP Welding Inspector certification required
• thorough knowledge of applicable international standards, including API 653 and API 510.
