Rotating Equipment Inspector

Job description

the employer is the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company. The inspector conducts “Hold”, “Witness” and “Surveillance” inspections at manufacturing facilities or construction sites to ensure compliance with SAUDI ARAMCO requirements and project specifications. Inspects material and equipment to verify proper handling, storage and protection per SAUDI ARAMCO standards. Monitors contractor quality systems, records and personnel for compliance. Reviews and evaluates contractor quality document submittals. Witnesses on‑site and off‑site material and installation tests for SAUDI ARAMCO compliance. Records all non‑conforming practices, materials and equipment legibly and reports potential issues to the supervisor for early resolution. Writes inspection reports and initiates Non‑Conformance Reports (NCRs), Worksheets (WSs) and Equipment Deficiency Reports (EDRs) as needed. Performs work as planned and scheduled with a professional approach and reports findings in the required format. Works safely during inspection activities and advises others to do the same. Maintains confidentiality throughout the service period. Operates to the highest ethical standards in line with the the employer Statement of Integrity.

Requirements

• B.S. degree in Engineering in the relevant inspection discipline
• minimum four (4) years of experience in the relevant inspection discipline
• or two (2) years of industrial/technical college diploma with at least eight (8) years of relevant inspection experience
• AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or CSWIP Welding Inspector certification required
• thorough knowledge of applicable international standards such as API 653 and API 510
• proficiency in preparing inspection reports and initiating Non‑Conformance Reports
• proficiency in English for written communication
• ability to work according to planned schedules with a professional approach

• adherence to the highest ethical standards.
