Junior Structural Design Review Engineer

Job description

the employer is the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company. Assist in reviewing structural calculations, drawings and design models under senior engineer supervision. Support the Design Review Team in preparing technical reports and deliverables. Verify compliance of structural designs with project requirements, applicable codes and standards. Participate in multidisciplinary coordination meetings and project discussions. Support site visits, technical assessments and inspections as needed. Review shop drawings and material submittals for structural works. Coordinate with project stakeholders and site teams to gather technical information. Assist in preparing Bills of Quantities and quantity take‑offs. Support resolution of technical issues identified during design review and project execution. Perform other duties assigned by the line manager related to projects and departmental requirements. Maintain project documentation and engineering records. Continuously develop technical knowledge and stay updated on structural engineering practices and software tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university
• Fresh graduate or up to 2 years of experience in structural engineering
• Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken)
• Basic knowledge of reinforced concrete and steel structure design
• Basic understanding of structural analysis and design principles
• Familiarity with engineering software such as AutoCAD, ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000 or similar preferred
• Basic knowledge of the Saudi Building Code (SBC) is an advantage
• Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) or eligibility for registration
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to learn and develop within a professional engineering environment
• Ability to join immediately
• Workweek Saturday to Thursday
• Position open to Saudi nationals only
