Job description

The Cybersecurity Engineer designs, implements, and monitors security controls to protect systems, detect threats early, and respond effectively to incidents while enhancing the organization’s security posture. • Harden systems against known vulnerabilities; • Detect and respond to threats promptly; • Maintain compliant security monitoring coverage; • Reduce critical incidents through remediation; • Improve security posture with continuous assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or operations
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, endpoint security, and incident response
• Knowledge of network security, Windows/Linux security, and threat models
• Relevant certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP, CISM) preferred
• Proficient with SIEM (Splunk, QRadar)
• Proficient in threat detection & hunting
• Proficient in incident response & forensics
• Proficient in vulnerability management (Nessus, Qualys)
• Proficient in cloud security (AWS/Azure)
• Proficient in network security (firewalls, IDS/IPS)
• Proficient in secure scripting (Python/Bash)
• Analytical thinking
• Problem solving under pressure
• Clear technical communication.
