Sr. Resident Engineer

Job description

Coordinate efforts with the client, contractors, and project team. Oversee construction activities for roads, railways, and infrastructure. Ensure execution follows approved drawings and specifications. Coordinate technical issue resolution and site problems. Monitor project progress, quality, and safety. Review contractor documents and technical data. Lead field inspections and implement quality control procedures. Prepare progress reports and provide technical recommendations. Manage field supervision teams. Identify potential risks and support timely issue resolution. Ensure compliance with contractual requirements and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• experience in construction and infrastructure projects
• proficiency in road and railway projects
• prior experience with engineering consulting firms
• expertise in field supervision and construction management
• excellent knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and quality standards
• strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills
• active registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers
• preferred experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC projects
