Design Manager (Master Planning)

Job description

We are seeking an innovative and detail-oriented Design Manager to join our dynamic team in Riyadh. In this pivotal role you will lead design functions, develop comprehensive strategies, assess concept feasibility, supervise designer teams, ensure compliance with standards, provide technical advisory, prepare detailed reports, manage budgets and resources, and collaborate with product, marketing and engineering teams to align design solutions with business objectives.

Requirements

• 15 years of professional design experience
• at least 8 years in a leadership or management capacity
• advanced proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch or equivalent)
• strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• excellent communication and presentation skills
• experience developing design strategies and standards
• ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
• proficiency in budget management and resource allocation
• strong interpersonal skills for cross‑department collaboration
• experience in stakeholder management and advising senior leadership
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Fine Arts, Graphic Design or related field
• knowledge of design thinking methodologies and user‑centered design
• knowledge of design compliance, accessibility standards and quality assurance
• experience in fast‑paced innovative environments
• familiarity with digital and print design tools
• experience mentoring junior designers
• understanding of market trends and competitive design analysis
