Inspector Lead - Structural

Job description

Join our Riyadh team to lead on‑site structural engineering operations. You will oversee all structural activities to ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, and the Saudi Building Code. Conduct daily inspections and quality checks to verify structural integrity and material compliance. Analyze performance data and provide technical recommendations to resolve challenges. Manage a team of engineers and technicians and prepare comprehensive field reports. Coordinate with project managers, architects, and contractors for seamless execution. Enforce safety protocols and oversee material testing and certifications. Participate in project meetings and provide expert input on structural matters.

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in structural engineering field operations and site supervision
• proficiency with structural analysis and design software including SAP2000, ETABS, and AutoCAD
• comprehensive knowledge of building codes and standards (IBC, ACI, AISC, and Saudi Building Code)
• demonstrated experience in project management and construction site supervision
• strong expertise in quality control procedures, material testing, and safety protocols
• proven leadership and team management capabilities supervising engineering personnel
• excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• ability to read, interpret, and analyze structural drawings and technical specifications
• organized and detail‑oriented approach with strong analytical capabilities
• professional demeanor and commitment to high conduct standards
• previous experience on construction projects in the Middle East
• PMP certification or equivalent
• experience with BIM software and processes
• background in large‑scale commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects
• knowledge of international construction standards and practices
• experience mentoring and training junior engineers and field staff
• familiarity with construction management software and digital documentation systems
