IT Infrastructure Engineer

Job description

The engineer manages and supports the IT infrastructure and networks. Monitors server performance, operating systems, and data centers. Contributes to cloud infrastructure management and operations. Supports virtualization technologies and technical resource management. Implements cybersecurity controls to protect networks and systems. Diagnoses and resolves technical faults to ensure service continuity. Improves infrastructure performance and prepares technical documentation

Requirements

• Academic degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• Good knowledge of network design and infrastructure management
• Familiarity with server administration, operating systems and data centers
• Knowledge of cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure and AWS
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and resource management
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and system/network protection
• Troubleshooting skills and ability to analyze and resolve technical issues
• Strong technical documentation, communication and teamwork skills
