Quality Controller

Job description

The Quality Controller ensures that the Maintenance and Engineering departments at the employer adhere to company standards and GACA regulations. The role involves conducting surveillance, auditing documentation, managing discrepancies, and implementing quality improvement initiatives to maintain high operational standards. Conduct regular and ad-hoc surveillance of Maintenance and Engineering activities. Ensure compliance with the employer standards and GACA regulations. Monitor the proper usage, calibration, and storage of tools, equipment, and materials. Verify adherence to safety and environmental standards across all operations. Audit technical records, including work orders, defect logs, maintenance logs, and material certifications. Validate the accuracy and completeness of documentation against regulatory requirements. Identify, document, and log non-conformities in AMOS. Collaborate with departments to ensure timely resolution of discrepancies. Track and analyze trends to recommend process improvements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in surveillance and technical auditing
• Knowledge of GACA regulations and the employer standards
• Experience with AMOS software
• Experience in auditing technical records and work orders
• Knowledge of safety and environmental standards in maintenance operations.
