Quality Assurance Auditor

Job description

The auditor performs independent audits of airline operations to assess compliance with external regulations and standards. Provides objective assessments to management and regulators. Oversees the safety management system, flight operations, ground operations and maintenance programs. Prepares detailed audit reports summarizing findings and recommendations. Identify points of non-compliance and suggest corrective actions. Follows up on the implementation of corrective actions. Keeps pace with changes in external regulations and standards. Coordinates with management and regulatory agencies to address audit findings. Reviews new systems and regulations, supplier list, and compliance documentation. Evaluates adherence to regulatory requirements such as GACA and ICAO, company procedures and best practices. Participates in scheduling the audit and following up on all corrective actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
• Previous experience in quality or aviation safety auditing
• Extensive knowledge of aviation regulations, regulations and regulatory bodies
