Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field
• 2+ years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in construction, infrastructure, civil, airport or large‑scale development projects
• basic practical knowledge of construction site safety requirements
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred
• good communication and interpersonal skills
• strong observation and attention‑to‑detail skills
• ability to clearly communicate safety requirements to workers and supervisors
• teamwork and coordination abilities
• ability to follow established procedures and appropriately escalate issues
• ability to work effectively under supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary HSE team
• proficiency in Microsoft Office
• experience conducting site inspections and monitoring safe work practices
• good understanding of risk assessments, method statements, PPE requirements and basic HSE procedures
• airport/airside project experience is an advantage
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent preferred
• IOSH Managing Safely advantage
• OSHA safety training advantage
• basic fire safety and emergency response training advantage
• ISO 45001 awareness training advantage
• HSE inspections
• hazard identification
• risk assessment awareness
• JSA/JHA
• method statement compliance
• permit to work awareness
