The mechanical engineer conducts scientific research on mechanical products and systems, plans and designs these systems, supervises their manufacture, installation, operation and repair, in addition to analyzing data. Typical tasks for this profession: • Preparing designs and blueprints for mechanical engineering projects, such as generators, turbines, air conditioning units, boilers, and distribution networks for heating, and refrigeration systems. • Preparing plans and programs for assembling and installing mechanical equipment for industrial projects, and specifying control systems for industrial projects. • Preparing equipment operating programs and preventive maintenance programs according to manufacturers’ instructions and following up on their implementation procedures. • Developing work methods and procedures and keeping pace with technical developments. • Prepare documents and reports specialized in engineering works and projects and their progress rates, display them, clarify them, and save them in their database in accordance with approved policies and procedures
