Senior Planning and Monitoring Engineer

Job description

Develop and maintain project schedules using project management software. • Monitor the progress of projects and identify areas of concern or potential delays. • Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop identified risk mitigation plans. • Provide regular updates on project status to project teams and management. • Review and analyze project data to identify trends and improve project performance. • Collaborate with construction and engineering teams to develop project schedules and ensure alignment with overall project objectives. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices. • Manage schedule change requests and ensure changes are properly documented and communicated. • Participate in project meetings and provide input on scheduling and monitoring issues. • Support project managers in developing project budgets and resource plans. • Informs himself of relevant quality, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies, manuals and procedures in place within the employer, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by the employer • Performing other duties assigned by the direct manager/supervisor

Requirements

• Mastery of project scheduling software (such as Primavera P6)
• Cost analysis and quantification
• Risk management and evaluation
• Preparation of accurate technical and administrative reports
• Effective coordination between project teams
