Job description

A central laboratory specialist conducts laboratory research, analysis, and testing, and supports life science specialists. Tasks include taking samples, testing, measuring, and conducting research and analysis in fields such as biology, biotechnology, environmental science, forensic science, and pharmacy. They also monitor laboratory activities, record test sequences, and analyze results.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Laboratory Science, Biology, or Chemistry
• experience working in scientific laboratories and using equipment
• thorough knowledge of laboratory safety and quality protocols
• preparing samples for testing
• applying laboratory safety procedures
• using chemical analysis equipment
